Well.. just learn it today, but apparently due to my lack of knowledge of certain ingredients, i may not give a vv accurate description, so please forgive me.
Yi Mian *or whatever it is call, that brown noodle one*
Ok first add oil.. *quite alot too i think, around 5 table spoon? or more*
Then add chopped garlic into it and fry till a golden brown
Add the chopped meat into it and fry it for around 15 seconds? *The meat is submerged in the oil, thats why cook so fast, and u can imagine how much oil is use*
Add one and a half container of water. *the detailed amount will be updated soon*
Add the yi mian. ( the yi mian is already fried when bought, and its vv big and bulk so just put it in. Its ok if its not totally submerged)
Try crushing it abit, to make the noodle submerged.
Add vegetables and sotong if you want. *recommended*
Cover it with a lid, opening it once in awhile to check on the noodle.
After 5 minutes, the noodle should be submerged already and the gravy will turn brownish.
Add the prawn in now, follow by pepper and oyster sauce and stir it abit.
Add a pinch of salt and egg. *2 eggs for the whole packet of yi mian*
Finish it off by adding corn flour mix with water. *half a bowl*
Stir it and test the taste. Add more oyster sauce, pepper or salt if not enough*
Scoop it up and its done!
